Your First Visit to Swimming Lessons in Tempe

Your first swimming lesson at our Tempe swim school is simple and stress-free once you know what to expect. Please arrive 10 minutes early so you have time to check in, get changed, and find your class before it begins. Bring swimwear, a towel, a water bottle, and goggles (recommended for Stripey 1 swimmers and above); children under 3 will need a swim nappy, we've got the rest covered.

Most Learn to Swim lessons run for 30 minutes, while Mini Squad runs 45 minutes and Gold Squad a full hour. For parking, use our onsite car park (spaces are limited), surrounding street parking, or the Tempe High School car park around a 300m walk away, so allow a few extra minutes during busy sessions. Once inside, settle into our air-conditioned viewing area, where you can watch your child's lesson from comfortable seating with a coffee in hand. You'll feel calm, prepared, and confident from your very first visit.

By choosing our swim school in Tempe, Sydney, you have entrusted your child to a program built on decades of experience, structured progression, and a commitment to teaching swimming with care, precision, and encouragement — giving every student the best possible opportunity to develop confidence, skills, and lifelong water safety.

Who to speak to if you need help

Starting somewhere new can feel busy, especially on pool deck. If you’re unsure, please ask:

  • Reception team (upstairs): check-in, swimming lessons bookings in Tempe, general questions
  • Supervisors in red shirts (pool deck): where to go, class guidance, support on the day

We’re here to make your first visit smooth.
